This past Sunday I did a Soul Cycle class in SOMA. First of all Café and I are both obsessed with Soul Cycle. Café blogged about it in NYC but the obsession has carried back to our lives in California. I walked out of morning class and decided to check out the Ferry Building. It was still early and I thought it would be the perfect time to look around and grab some food. I headed over to Frog Hollow Farms Café. It is hidden in the back of the building. You can smell this café from down the hallway. I decided on the avocado toast since it involves two of my favorite things, toast and avocados. I have to say that I have had a ton of avocado toast before. Growing up in SoCal this is a staple of most cafes.
This version is divine! It is the perfect amount of crunchy toast mixed with the most heavenly avocado. They give you half of one on each piece of toast. They don’t skimp here which appreciate. That top this off with just the perfect amount of olive oil, salt and pepper. It is perfection!
A bonus to this trip is post toast you can take a walk around the Ferry Building which has some really great shops and stores for foodie people. Some of my favorites are Blue Bottle Coffee, Cowgirl Creamery, Humphry Slocombe (ice cream), Pebbles Donuts (vegan donuts) and Pressed Juicery.
